It has been a while since I have posted any kind of update, but that is not because the project is stalled. At this point, the game is complete apart from beta testing and any needed bug fixes. It will have a boxed release through AtariAge, hopefully early in 2022.
A new public demo has been released. There were a lot of changes “under the hood”, but the main visible difference is the changes I made to dungeon vision code.
After working on dungeons and the public demo, I’ve gone to work on other areas of the game. I’ve added code to allow the player to obtain a ship, and am adding cities and other content only reachable by ship. Next will likely be seamonsters and combat from aboard the ship.
